Friendly Faces of The SBA

As well as the Forum for Retailers in early February, the SBA has already hosted three events in 2010 with very healthy attendance figures and excellent feedback from participants.

The first event in February saw 70 SBA members and friends enjoy a presentation by Paul Counsel on “Why Businesses Plateau and How You Can Enjoy Extraordinary Growth”. This was followed in March by a well attended Business After Hours hosted by Margaret O’Keefe and her team at the Telstra Business Centre West Perth.

Most recently, Wayne Bradshaw CE of the WA Football Commission, gave a relevant and very well received presentation on “The Importance of Teamwork in Business” as well as providing an update on the status of the Subiaco Oval redevelopment discussions.

The lawn bowlers amongst the group then took to the turf and enjoyed an hour of team games and a bit of mirth. Alastair Lyon from Harvey World Travel took home the “nearest the jack” award in the dying minutes of the competition.
