About Subiaco

The City of Subiaco is a Local Government Area of Western Australia. It covers an area of approximately 7 km2 in inner western metropolitan Perth, the capital of Western Australia and lies about 3 km west of the Perth CBD and comprises the following suburbs:

City of Subiaco

‘Subiaco has it all - premier fashion outlets, a vast array of restaurants and cafes and many attractions including galleries, museums and theatres and markets. It doesn't stop there - Subiaco has a pulsing nightlife with a range of bars, clubs and pubs catering for any occasion. All of this can be found within an established inner city area with well planted streets and public reserves. Subiaco has many mature and significant trees in its streets, public and private gardens. This feature contributes greatly to the enviable 'leafy' character of the City. Home to WA football, Subiaco Oval is a premier venue for interstate and overseas artists. Subiaco is open seven days a week and with late night trading on Thursdays is a must for all visitors’.

About The Subiaco Business Association

The Subiaco Business Association (SBA) was launched in 1983, by founding member Geoff Gosling in collaboration with a group of astute and proud business individuals operating various enterprises within the Subiaco district. The SBA was established primarily as a membership based organisation with a focus on developing and delivering member benefits, advocacy and events within the Subiaco business community. The SBA also includes members of the Subiaco Businesswomen’s Association. Formation of the Association was a result of a recognised need to establish an association which would meet the needs of business operators, grow business opportunities within Subiaco and encourage new business development to the area. Since its formation, the SBA has sought to improve communication with the City of Subiaco and Government Authorities and market Subiaco as a desirable business destination. The SBA continues to service its growing membership within the Subiaco business community today through the provision of networking events, marketing and business support, mentoring and advisory services.

1Stop Subiaco

‘With its contrast between restored federation houses and the new Centro redevelopment, Subi's residents enjoy a stimulating mix of the old and the new . And Subi is the preferred inner-city place to work in Perth with thousands of businesses surrounding the shopping areas. Subiaco is easily accessible from Perth CBD and situated on the edge of Kings Park. While its demographic has changed dramatically in recent years, Subiaco still has a wonderful sense of community’.
